Last week was filled with incredible performances from our amazing band program! We are so proud of all the effort our students put in and how they shined at both the HUSD Band Spectacular and the Key Game at Sultana High School. Their dedication and talent truly make our school proud!
This week, we are excited to kick off our first volleyball game of the season and wrap up our wrestling season. These events are a great opportunity to come together as a community, cheer on our students, and celebrate their hard work both on and off the field. With Quarter 1 report cards due this week, it’s especially important for students to check their grades and submit any missing work. Please remember that once the quarter ends, late assignments can no longer be accepted for credit. Families can review grades on Infinite Campus, and teachers are available to answer any questions.
Looking ahead, Fall Break is October 6–10. Just a reminder—there will be no school during that week. Have a wonderful week, Rattlers!

Our first spirit week was such an incredible success—I’ve never seen so many students participate before! From Adam Sandler Day to Anything But a Backpack Day, the creativity, school spirit, and laughter across campus were inspiring. It was a great reminder of how much energy and joy our students bring when they feel connected and engaged.
As we move into next week, things may slow down a little, but there are still plenty of exciting opportunities for students to get involved. We’ll be hosting our first wrestling meet, another cross country competition, an eSports tournament, and even a D&D Movie Night. These events highlight the wide variety of interests and talents our students have, and we’re proud to provide spaces where every student can find a way to belong.
We hope you’ll join us in supporting our Rattlers—whether it’s cheering them on at a sporting event, encouraging them to try something new, or simply celebrating their accomplishments. Together, we’re building a strong, spirited community where every student feels seen and valued.
