We’re proud to recognize Kelsey Mason, a dedicated 7th grade student-athlete on our Varsity Girls Soccer Team! With a 3.5 GPA and enrollment in all honors classes, Kelsey shows what it truly means to balance excellence in both academics and athletics.
Kelsey has a passion for creativity, especially in yearbook, where she enjoys capturing moments through photography. On the field, she plays forward and has been a key contributor, scoring goals and constantly pushing herself to improve for her team.
Looking ahead, Kelsey has big dreams—she plans to attend BYU, compete at the collegiate level, and ultimately pursue a career as a professional soccer player. Next year, she’s excited to continue her journey at Sultana High School!

Unity Week was a huge hit at RMS! From the spirit days and color wars to the clubs parade and carnival, the energy on campus was incredible. A massive thank you to our ASB for organizing such a fantastic week for our students and staff.
We kick off state testing tomorrow with 8th-grade Science, followed by ELA next week and Math the week after. These results are essential for helping us plan our future instructional focus and student placements.
Please encourage your students to arrive well-rested, eat a healthy breakfast, and take their time on each assessment.
We have full confidence in our Rattlers—let's finish the year strong!

Ranchero Middle School is proud to recognize Ka’ron Jones as our Athlete of the Week!
Although new to our school and district this year, Ka’ron has quickly made a powerful impact as a key member—and Captain—of our Varsity Basketball team. His leadership shines both on and off the court, as he leads by example with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to keep his teammates motivated and focused. Ka’ron has been performing at an elite level this season, consistently scoring 20+ points per game while demonstrating outstanding teamwork, competitiveness, and sportsmanship. His contributions have played a major role in the team’s success. Beyond athletics, Ka’ron is also committed to his academics. Enrolled in honors courses, he is known by his teachers as respectful, responsible, and dedicated to his growth. With goals of attending college and pursuing athletics at the collegiate—and possibly professional—level, Ka’ron exemplifies what it means to be a well-rounded student-athlete.

Last Friday’s PBIS Bingo Night was a blast! 🎉 Students and families had a great time playing Bingo, and we had several lucky winners throughout the night. We also enjoyed some fun Minute to Win It games that brought lots of laughs and friendly competition!
Events like this are a great way to bring families onto campus, build connections, and enjoy a fun evening together as a school community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the night so much fun!

We are only a couple of weeks away from the end of the third quarter—time has certainly flown by! This is a great time for students and families to check Infinite Campus to make sure grades are up to date and that there are no missing assignments. Staying on top of assignments now can make a big difference as we head into the final stretch of the quarter.
We would also like to congratulate our Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball teams for advancing to the playoffs! The girls will be taking on Melva Davis, and the boys will be facing Barstow. Although these games will be played away, we hope members of our Rattler community will come out to support our teams and cheer them on as they continue their successful season.

Even though the semester is just getting started, this is a common time when students are still settling back into their routines. This is a great opportunity to check in, set goals, and help students build strong habits for the weeks ahead.
We encourage families to regularly monitor grades in Infinite Campus and to remind students to turn in all assignments on time. If your student needs extra support, we are happy to share that we offer a variety of after-school programs focused on tutoring and academic intervention to help students get caught up and feel more confident in their learning.
Believe it or not, there are only 13 weeks left in the semester, and this time will go by quickly! With consistent effort and communication with teachers, students can make meaningful progress and finish the term strong.
Thank you for your continued partnership, and have a great week!
