Time: 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM

To participate in tryouts, you must have a valid physical on file with the school. If you have a physical turned in and plan on trying out, please see Mr. Martinez in room 403 to verify that you have a physical turned in and to put you on the tryout list. We hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend! This time of year brings plenty of well-deserved breaks, and we hope you were able to spend some time relaxing, connecting with family and friends, or doing whatever helps you recharge.

Although it’s a short week with only three days, it’s packed with excitement—from volleyball games and ASB lunch activities to our upcoming sports and club photo day!

Progress Report 2 just closed, and report cards will be sent home for students who earned a D or F in any class. This marks the halfway point of Quarter 2, which means we’re just four weeks away from the end of the semester! Now is the perfect time for students to check in on their grades, turn in any missing assignments, and finish the semester strong.

Last week was filled with so much positive energy at RMS! We hosted our first volleyball games of the season and brought home several wins! We also celebrated our Renaissance students (those earning a 3.0 GPA and above) with delicious prizes and treats, and capped off the week with Halloween fun and plenty of creative costumes.

This week may be a bit slower, but it’s the perfect time for students to check Infinite Campus and make sure all assignments are turned in before Progress Report 2 closes. If you have any questions about your student’s grades, please reach out to their teachers directly or connect through the Talking Points app.

Last week was filled with incredible performances from our amazing band program! We are so proud of all the effort our students put in and how they shined at both the HUSD Band Spectacular and the Key Game at Sultana High School. Their dedication and talent truly make our school proud!

Can you believe we’ve already reached the last week of the quarter? This first part of the school year has flown by, and I want to thank you again for helping make it one of the best starts I’ve ever experienced!

With Quarter 1 report cards due this week, it’s especially important for students to check their grades and submit any missing work. Please remember that once the quarter ends, late assignments can no longer be accepted for credit. Families can review grades on Infinite Campus, and teachers are available to answer any questions.
