OTHER ITEMS
NO SPITTING. Spitting is not allowed on campus and is subject to administrative discipline.
NO PROFANITY. The use of profanity in verbal or written form is prohibited and subject to administrative discipline.
PUBLIC DISPLAY OF AFFECTION IS PROHIBITED. Examples of PDA include, but not limited to, kissing, hand holding, or fondling. PDA may result in disciplinary action.

BICYCLES/SKATEBOARDS
Bicycle racks are located in front of the school, but students must provide a lock. For safety purposes, students must wear a helmet when riding their bike to and from school. The bicycle rack area is OUT OF BOUNDS during school hours and during lunch period. Students must not loiter in the bicycle rack area before or after school. Bikes are not to be ridden on campus. Skateboards are not allowed on campus including parking lots due to safety reasons and theft. A fine may be imposed and skateboards confiscated. Signs are posted on campus.

CAMPUS TELEPHONES
School phones are used by teachers and staff members for school business. Students may use school phones only when it is approved and supervised by a staff member.

VISITORS
Parents and guardians of students attending our school are welcome to visit the school. If a visit will include going into the classroom, prior arrangements must be made with the school. All visitors must first report to the office to secure a Visitor Pass. If you have any questions or concerns, please telephone the school first to arrange a conference time. Friends of RMS students are not allowed to visit school during regular school hours.

STUDENT INCOMING MESSAGES
Students are not to text message or use, or be contacted on, their cell phone during school hours. Cell phones are to be powered “off” during school hours. Please call the front office if you need to get a message to your student.

STUDENT GIFTS
Gifts will not be delivered to students during school hours. Please do not bring balloons, flowers or other gifts for students as they will remain in the front office until the end of the day. We keep classroom interruptions to a minimum for the sake of all of our students’ educational needs.

THEFT DISCLAIMER
The Hesperia Unified School District is not responsible for stolen or lost items. The individual student is responsible for his/her personal property and for textbooks or other school items checked out to them. Students should not share PE lockers or lock combinations with anyone and should make sure their locker is properly locked at all times.

LITTERING
Any student found disposing trash in any location other than a designated trash receptacle will be subject to disciplinary action. We are proud of our school and want to keep it clean.
